Black Eye Galaxy

Introduction

Black Eye Galaxy (BYG) is a sci-fi space metaverse primarily built on the Binance Smart Chain network with its NFT assets such as planets, spaceships, buildings, and its in-game token, BYG. Black Eye Galaxy will also utilize Ethereum, Solona, Polygon, and many other networks to attract more players within its metaverse in the future. 

Gameplay

The gameplay of Black Eye Galaxy centers around discovering star systems, competing in ranked and unranked 3D racing, mining planets and asteroids for resources, locating, collecting, and trading salvage: at the end, every gameplay style will make players earn BYG tokens. In order to do that, players must pick a star system cluster that is dedicated to one layer-1 blockchain network, starting with star system cluster S0-1 reserved for the Binance Smart Chain. The development team of the game aims to create different star system clusters for different blockchain networks, to create diversity both within the player base and the game’s economy.

Planets within the star system clusters are the main focus of all gameplay styles. There are different types of planets with different opportunities, and these planets are the main way to earn BYG tokens via resource mining. Every planet has a different capacity of valuable resources that lets players earn different amounts of BYG tokens. On mineable planets, players can construct buildings on planets to help them in the process of mining and make it more profitable. Also, on habitable planets, players can start their own cosmic civilizations with the help of plots of lands that can be sold to build cities, buildings and increase the planets’ population in general. Whether it’s a mining or habitable planet, every planet in the game has its own name, cosmic address, Earth similarity index, and resource mining difficulty.

To travel across the cosmos and attend to different activities, players need to own a spaceship. In Black Eye Galaxy, players have access to different types of spaceships, such as exploration spaceships, cargo spaceships, asteroid hunters, salvage spaceships, and racing spaceships. All spaceships within the game have defining characteristics as type, flight range, class, durability, and model’s specific details. 

Token Information

In the metaverse of BYG, every in-game asset is an NFT: every planet, spaceship, or building can be bought, sold, and traded by the players using the game’s native utility token, BYG. By being a DeFi game, Black Eye Galaxy harbors an economy that is based on players’ actions and decisions.
