Gameplay

Cards Ahoy! stands out from traditional trading card games (TCGs) with its swift 60-second PvP battles. Players engage in meme card battles where each card has a power value that decreases upon collision with opposing cards. When a card's power reaches zero, it is knocked out of the game. This simple yet strategic gameplay allows players to quickly secure victories and move on to the next round. The ability to preconfigure battle teams and adjust battle speeds further enhances the fast-paced nature of the game.

The game features an in-depth card development system where all cards are NFTs. Players collect cards of varying rarities to build powerful teams and participate in battles to earn CAC tokens. Cards can be acquired through ladder battles, Ahoy Boxes, Season Boxes, Mythic Boxes, and alchemy. High-rarity cards offer stronger power and are more difficult to obtain. Players can upgrade their cards by consuming duplicate cards, unlocking stronger skills and team configurations as they progress through the game.

Cards Ahoy! also offers strategic team compositions through its faction system. The game currently features four factions: Plant, Animal, Zombie, and Neutral. Each faction has unique battle mechanics that complement each other, allowing for diverse and strategic team setups. The Plant Faction excels in defense and counterattacks, the Animal Faction grows stronger with proactive attacks, the Zombie Faction summons members after they fall, and the Neutral Faction acts as versatile mercenaries. With over 200 cards and thousands of possible team compositions, players can explore a wide variety of strategies.

Additionally, Cards Ahoy! provides diverse battle mechanics with daily variations. Players can earn chest points through daily battles during each season period and exchange them for ladder chests with randomly changing bonus chances. The number of team configurations available each day also varies, requiring players to adapt their strategies. Pre-battle preparation allows players to choose on-the-spot bonuses and adjust team positions, adding another layer of strategy.

Cards Ahoy! utilizes three primary tokens within its ecosystem: CAC, CAB, and AHOY. CAC is the in-game currency used for various activities, such as purchasing items, entering tournaments, and accessing exclusive content. It is a BEP20 token with a total supply of 20 billion CAC. Players can earn CAC through ladder mode victories, arena wins, event airdrops, and swapping on the Metalist game wallet. CAC is consumed in the alchemy system, buying arena tickets, season boxes, boosters, energy, and Winstreak Clovers. CAB is the game's recharging currency, obtainable through in-game recharges or third-party payments. It is used for buying Ahoy Boxes, energy, and Winstreak Clovers.
