Chumbi Valley

Introduction

Chumbi Valley is a play-to-earn, role-playing NFT game where players can collect creatures called Chumbi on both the Binance Smart Chain and Polygon networks. Chumbi are mysterious creatures that inhabit a forest valley. Players can traverse and explore this forest and find Chumbi.

Gameplay

At the beginning of the game, players will be given an Ancestor Chumbi that will help with basic tasks. Ancestor Chumbi cannot be sold or traded. To level a Chumbi, players can battle against wild and cursed Chumbi that can be found in the game world, send their Chumbi to Chumbi Sage to learn new spells and upgrade, and feed their Chumbi to keep them happy.

Chumbi have different types and tiers. Tier 1 consists of Neutral, Forest, Cave, Flame, River, Mountain, Spark, and Insect types. These types can be bred and upgraded to the Tier 2 types; Feather, Crystal, Frost, and Flower. The same can be done to upgrade to Tier 3 types; Creature and Spirit. If the player breeds the two Tier 3 types, a Void Chumbi can be created. Types determine the skin color of the Chumbi. They can have different coats from other types, which results in a unique appearance combined with different horns, ears, eyes, mouth, and patterns.

When a Chumbi is born, it will have two attack moves, two effect moves, and an ability. Attack moves depend on the type and the coat, effect moves are a result of eyes and the mouth, while the pattern determines the ability. Every type has weaknesses and strengths against each other.

The core gameplay loop consists of building and crafting your forest home, exploring the wild forest, finding rare seeds, farming and growing crops, and battling wild Chumbi and other players. There is also a staking mechanic at the Shrine of Giving. Buying, selling, and trading will take place at the in-game marketplace using the Chumbi Token. Players can own a plot of land in the game.

Token Information

There are two currencies in the game, CHMB and LSTS tokens. The primary CHMB token is used for transactions such as buying a new NFT Chumbi, sage and breeding fees, land plots, and other marketplace purchases. It can be staked, acts as a governance token that allows voting, and has a finite supply. LSTS is the secondary token that is rewarded from successful participation in PvE and PvP game modes. It has an infinite supply.
