CryptoBay is a play-to-earn ship battler on the Binance Smart Chain network. Players can buy and build ships, fight against pirates and other players, participate in boss battles, build harbors, recruit captains, and raise pets. They can also take on daily missions to progress. The game uses BAY and PEARL tokens as currencies.
The ships in the game are made out of dinosaur bones. The parts of the ship all correspond to components of a dinosaur; spine, paws, legs, skull, ribs, and tail. They affect the ship's six different stats; skill, speed, defense, attack, space, and morale. The primary stat of the ship determines its class. There are six ship classes; Transport, Cruiser, Destroyer, Frigate, Warship, and Assault.
The ships have different gameplay mechanics attached to them. They have a fixed number of dismantling, which increases when a shipbuilding task starts; the upper limit for tasks is seven. Durability is limited for each ship, it decreases when they participate in battle, ships can be repaired to restore durability. Every ship has energy where every battle consumes twenty points, the upper limit is determined by the space stat of a ship. Energy recovers automatically, which is related to the skill stat.
Players can do daily quests to gain experience and upgrade their ship. Levels can be gained by playing, and every multiple of 5 levels ships will gain additional stats. Every account can own a ship, this number can be increased to 3 if the player owns a harbor. Players can buy and trade ships and mystery boxes in the marketplace.
BAY tokens are utilized in the NFT marketplace and act as a governance token that allows voting. It can also be staked. PEARL tokens are earned from in-game activities and can be used in upgrading ships and participating in missions and quests.
