Dark Frontiers

Introduction

Dark Frontiers is a play-to-earn space-themed survival RPG blockchain game that utilizes the Binance Smart Chain network with its in-game cryptocurrency, DARK. In the game, players are expected to be creative and resourceful to solve puzzles left by an unknown civilization and survive in the vast space of Dark Frontiers. 

Gameplay

The players will be gathering Dark Energies (DARK) throughout their journey. This energy helps players to forge and own land NFTs on different planet surfaces, which are called Terra Firma. These unique NFTs provide a liveable place for survivors after the destruction of Earth. 

The colonization process of the survivors starts from the Moon. Players will claim and own territories of the Moon to mine valuable resources, but of course, this causes a conflict between survivors since the Moon has a limited capacity of resources because of its size. 

To mine, conquer, or explore planets' lands, players will need a space rover. Space rovers will help players to move quickly and efficiently on planets, but they need to be repaired from time to time since their parts can be broken. Also, space rovers will have different tiers, statistics, and features to help players on their journey. Basic models of the space rovers will be available in the game’s marketplace.

In the space of Dark Frontiers, players also need a spaceship to travel between locations and planets. Spaceships will be the primary vehicles of the players: they can be used for their storage capacity, protection from dangers, a source of oxygen, or discovering new galaxies. They can be upgraded by merging different NFTs. The merging process also might conclude as creating a new spaceship with a unique appearance, better equipment, and statistics. The original blueprint of merged spaceships influences the process, but the chance of a new spaceship is random. 

Token Information

In Dark Frontiers, in-game cryptocurrency DARK and NFTs are at the center of the gameplay. Terra Firma, spaceships, space rovers, etc., are all NFTs that can be traded, sold, or purchased by players. On the other hand, DARK tokens can be used in the marketplace or for governance purposes.
