Volume (24h)Duelist King is a play-to-earn blockchain NFT card game where players can earn DKT tokens and own NFT cards and champions on the Binance Smart Chain network. Players can craft decks from their cards and compete against other players in matches. The game is available on PC.
In Duelist King, players can own cards from different roles, races, and attributes. Roles include archers, assassins, casters, duelists, supports, and warriors. There are twenty-four races, including druids, zombies, orcs, humans, goblins, and many more. Each card has attributes attached to them which determine its various advantages and disadvantages. These elemental attributes vary from light, dark, earth, water, air, poison, fire, lightning, metal, neutral, void, and ice.
Decks can be crafted using these cards. They can contain a minimum of twenty-five cards with a maximum of thirty cards. Players will enter a match using their decks. Each player has thirty life points and can have ten cards in their hand. Matches last for ten rounds, and the player with the most life points, in the end, wins the game. Turns are divided into two phases. The first phase consists of rolling a dice to collect magical tokens that are used for summons, buffs, and attacks. The phase ends by drawing two cards, and in the second phase, players can choose what cards to play. Players can either summon a creature and use it to attack or cast a spell to alter the board. Once the turn timer is up, the opponent’s turn starts.
Creatures can either be melee or ranged. Generally, melee creatures have higher hit points and cost fewer summon tokens, while ranged ones are the damage dealers with lower hit points. The hit points are indicated in red, and the attack points are yellow on the cards. Magical cards can directly damage the board, buff cards, summon creatures, set up traps that cause damage, and debuff cards.
DKT is the native governance token that allows voting for in-game assets. Players can buy mystery boxes that contain random cards and NFTs from the marketplace. Cards are also open to trading with other players. Players can unlock sealed cards that are dropped from successful participation in different game modes using their DKT tokens.
