Moniwar

Introduction

Moniwar is a blockchain-based puzzle and adventure game that utilizes the Binance Smart Chain network with its NFTs, and cryptocurrency, MOWA. The game consists of a combination of different gameplay mechanics such as puzzle-solving, battling, and cards. Moniwar is playable on both PC and mobile devices.

Gameplay

Players face opponents through a rune board in the game's battling system. By using this rune board, players can attack, defend, buff, heal, and defeat their opponents. For the puzzle part of the game, players choose their actions by matching at least three runes on this board, and each rune color has a different feature; the orange rune charges up the rage bar, the purple rune recovers mana to use special skills, red rune recovers HP (health points), blue rune, creates a shield to absorb any incoming damage, green rune absorbs mana or HP, and lastly, yellow rune attacks the opponent. In addition to matching runes, players also can use their special skills (pet skills) or support cards. Each match has three rounds, and during his/her turn, a player can only perform one action. If a player doesn’t make a move in 10 seconds, his/her turn will be lost. 

Moniwar has three different game modes for players to experience; Adventure, PvP, and PvE modes. The Adventure mode consists of five different maps, including forest, desert, sea, mountain, and volcano. Each map has ten levels, a total of 50 rounds. At each map, players have the task of scanning diamonds of the same color to earn in-game rewards. Upon winning a round, players receive chests to obtain items. The rarity of these chests depends on the difficulty of the map. 

The game offers players three different PvP modes; PvP tournaments, 1vs1 PvP, and 3vs3 PvP. PvP tournaments happen from Monday to Saturday every week. Those who are successful in the tournament rise to the top of the leaderboard and receive various awards according to their status on the leaderboard. The position of the players on the leaderboard is calculated by the ELO system. In 1vs1 PvP mode, players face random opponents that the game automatically finds. This mode is also scored according to the ELO system. The more a player plays, the higher the score in the next rounds, as well as, the more often a player loses, the lower the score will be in the next rounds. The 3v3 PvP mode has the same mechanics, but instead of 1v1 matches, there are 3v3 matches.

In PvE mode, players can improve their monsters' skills by fighting against bosses. This mode is simply a bootcamp for monsters; they can be improved in PvE mode to be able to participate in advanced PvP modes. 

Token Information

Moniwar uses the MOWA token as its official cryptocurrency. Players can earn the MOWA token by playing the game; by beating up the bosses in Adventure mode, opening chests to receive NFTs, and MOWA, selling NFTs on the marketplace, winning in 1vs1, and 3v3 PvP modes, etc. Also, the game rewards the players for their efforts when they reach certain milestones. If players participate in weekly PvP events, at least 40 matches a week, and reach the required number of wins, they can earn up to 150 MOWAs a week.
