Volume (24h)Monsta Infinite is an upcoming play-to-earn strategy card game with a match-three puzzle system integrated into the gameplay. Players will have a team of 3 Monstas and fight enemies using cards while using the puzzles to amplify their skills and stats. The game will be utilizing the Binance Smart Chain Network with the MONI token.
In Monsta Infinite, there will be nine classes of Monsta from 3 moon nations. Each of them will have their respective classes and be categorized due to their points in Strength, Agility, or Intellect. In addition to the class, each Monsta is made up of 6 different parts, identified by its head, face, body, tail, arms, and legs. They can be augmented by using other Monsta as a sacrificial offering. Augmented body parts will acquire a new special skill card. The augmentation mechanism solves the problem of overpopulation, as the player has to sacrifice Monsta to strengthen their Monsta team. Therefore, the supply and demand of Monsta will stay balanced and will keep the cost of entry lower for new players.
Each Monsta team requires exactly three Monstas to battle. Each Monsta has six skill cards, two attack cards, and two defend cards. During a match, players can choose from five cards. After each round, the player has 5 seconds to perform "orb dragging" on the match-three puzzle system. If the orbs matched are the respective class' color, then Monstas' skills can be enhanced. Health point and mana point orbs are special orbs that recover Monsta's HP and MP. There are five color orbs which each of the color orbs represents a class or an attribute (Cyborg, Elf, Orc, HP recovery, and MP recovery). The player has to drag an orb to adjacent positions, swapping with the orb already there. As long as the player does not let go of the orb, the player can move the orb as much as necessary within 5 seconds, allowing them to rack up several combos in a single turn. After the completion of this action, all matched orbs are removed. The board then cascades all orbs down, and more three-orb matches occur, once again, powering up the Monsta even more. By mastering this sequence in battle, players will defeat other players or AI-controlled enemies to progress in ranks and make their Monstas more powerful.
