Introduction

OccupyWallstreet is a play-to-earn blockchain-based top-down shooter on the Solana blockchain with its NFTs and cryptocurrencies, OWS and OWT. The game is set in a dystopian near-future where a second Occupy movement has erupted across the globe. Players can join the struggle in this dystopian game in order to earn cryptocurrency and NFT rewards.

Gameplay

OccupyWallStreet (OWS) is a top-down shooter game with both PvE and PvP modes. The game takes inspiration from the real-life Occupy Wall Street movement and the financial showdowns between retail traders and larger financial institutions that have occurred in recent years.

The game is set in a dystopian near-future where a second Occupy movement has erupted across the globe. As a result, massive market disruption ensues, and dozens of governments fail. Armed vigilantes calling themselves "Bulls" emerge to restore order, while others, known as "Bears," fight to keep the Occupy movement going.

OWS offers an engaging environment for stock and cryptocurrency enthusiasts to play, earn tokens and NFTs, use market trends within the game, and learn from one another. One of the unique aspects of OWS is how it utilizes the “Pyth Network” to react in real-time to real-life market conditions and news. This means that the game world is constantly changing, and players must adapt to new challenges and opportunities as they arise. For example, as the stock or cryptocurrency connected to a particular land zone goes up or down, the difficulty of the missions in that zone will change, and the drop rate of NFTs, scrap, and tokens will also be affected.

The game features two modes: PvE and PvP. In PvE mode, players complete quests and missions that are closely tied to real-world events to earn experience points (XP) and level up their characters. They can also earn NFTs and scrap, which are used to create NFTs, by defeating NPCs in these missions. In PvP mode, bulls face off against bears in casual and ranked 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 battles. There are also tournaments with cash prizes in this mode.

OWS offers a free-to-play feature that comes in three different categories, allowing players to choose the one that best fits their preference. These categories include unvested, vested, and genesis. Unvested players can mint free characters and battle in PvP, but they can only level up to level 10 and cannot access the marketplace to sell loot earned in single-player mode. Vested players must pay a fee in 1 SOL to "vest" their characters and unlock the leveling feature. Genesis players earn 20% additional token rewards and have access to exclusive skill NFTs that drop once per PvP season.

The game's metaverse is divided into multiple "Land Zones," each of which is connected to a popular stock or cryptocurrency. The difficulty of PvE missions and the drop rate of NFTs, scrap, and tokens in each land zone are determined by the stock's or cryptocurrency's performance in the market. Missions are easier with higher rewards for Bull characters when the zone is "up" in the market and for Bear characters when it's "down." Each land zone also has its own social channel for players to discuss and share their opinions on the stock or cryptocurrency.

In OWS, players can earn NFTs by completing missions or winning battles in PvP mode. These NFTs can then be used to upgrade the player's character's equipment or skills, making them more powerful and better equipped to handle the challenges of the game.

Additionally, the game also has a player-driven economy that allows players to buy, sell, and trade items and NFTs on the marketplace. This allows players to earn tokens and other in-game rewards by participating in the game's economy. The play-to-earn mechanism in OWS provides players with multiple opportunities to earn in-game currency and other rewards by participating in the game's various activities. Token Information

The game OccupyWallStreet utilizes a dual token model, with two separate tokens: OWS and OWT. The OWS token is the governance token, It is used for various in-game activities such as staking and rewarded for monitoring in-game replays for abusers and cheaters. Additionally, OWS is also used as rewards in the PvP mode. The OWT token is the utility token, with an infinite total supply. It is used for various in-game activities such as PvE, PvP, and the tougher PvE mode, the Bloomy Arena rewards, as well as renting and selling fees, and community participation rewards.
