Scrap Guilds

Introduction

Scrap Guilds is an open-world free-to-play play-to-earn space exploration game where players can wander around the galaxy, discover secrets, encounter events, and gather resources. There are many missions and NPCs to find and complete. Players will come across different types of creatures and enemies. The game uses ATK token as the main currency, and it is connected to the Polygon network.

Gameplay

In Scrap Guilds, players can complete daily quests to earn resources and ATK tokens. In order to do that, they need a spaceship. There are ten classes to choose from, which are made by different manufacturers. Griffin, Bloodline, Brute, Chug, Canine, Kobolt, Basilisk, Piker, Resound, Hellion feature different benefits such as having more firepower, better mobility, or having more shields. 

All ships have components that affect the attributes; the cockpit determines hit points, the nose is the main shield source, the engines affect speed, the chassis is the storage area, and the augment reactor allows for magic augments. There are also extensions like weapons, bots, items, and gadgets that can be equipped for a ship. Each ship has a tier that serves as rarities; common, uncommon, rare, epic, and legendary. 

Every ship has a magic type that has various advantages and disadvantages against one another. Divine magic is used for healing and smiting, arcane magic can increase fire rates and freeze opponents, death magic can request the assistance of the dead, control magic is used to create holograms and trick others, null magic is a defensive one where it can be used to cancel out magical effects.

Token Information

Players can battle in the arena by paying ATK tokens as an entry fee. These battles can either be a 1v1 or a free-for-all where the last man standing wins and gets ATK tokens. Battles are dog fights where players have to use their ship's abilities and skills to the fullest. Racing can be another source of income for some players. It takes place on asteroid belts, rings, and worm craters. Players can still utilize their ship's weapons and destructive abilities even though they are racing. Matchmaking is based on the rarity of a player's ship and parts, recent match results, and their experience. Awards and rewards gained from quests and arenas are paid in ATK tokens. These can be used to buy NFT ships and upgrade them with parts from the marketplace.
