Volume (24h)Summoners War: Lost Centuria is a play-to-earn blockchain-based real-time strategy game that utilizes the C2X blockchain ecosystem with its NFT assets and cryptocurrencies, CTX and LCT. Players form teams of eight monsters in the game to face opponents in a one-v-one duel setup. Since it's a strategy game, strategic thinking and acting are crucial to winning a battle.
Monsters of Lost Centuria are divided into four main types according to their skills and abilities; attack, defense, HP, and support. Attack monsters deal the most damage, while defense monsters are tanky and expected to soak damage as much as they can. HP monsters are like bruisers; they deal more damage than defense monsters and have more health pools than attack monsters. Support monsters, on the other hand, are healers and buffers of the game. They help their fellow monsters to defeat their opponents.
According to their rarity levels, these monsters can be normal, rare, hero, or legend. The higher rarity level increases the general power of a monster. Monsters are divided into five elemental classes: water, fire, wind, light, and dark. Elemental classes have advantages or disadvantages against each other. For example, the water element is powerful against the fire element but weak against the wind element. Light and dark elements can encounter each other, thanks to their nature; the light can light up the dark, and vice versa. All monsters in the game can be equipped with runes and skill stones to improve their abilities and overall power.
During a fight, players can use spell cards. These spell cards are powerful enough to determine the outcome of the battle. Since they are so powerful, each spell card can be used only once during a match. Spell cards can be drawn randomly depending on the battle's progress, such as using mana stones or killing a monster. As monsters, the maximum level of spell cards is level 15.
Each monster in the game can be upgraded by using mana stones or the duplicate of that monster. A monster's level and rarity grade determine the required number of cards and mana stones; powerful and high-tiered monsters need more resources to upgrade. Players can increase the level of their monsters up to level 15. However, after reaching the max level, the max level limit can be broken by additional resources, up to 30. Upon limit break, monsters' attack, defense, or HP attributes can be improved.
Players can use skill stones to enhance and add additional abilities or effects to their monsters; the outcome of the improvement depends on the skill stone itself. Only one skill stone can be equipped at the same time. Like monsters, the skill stones have four grades of rarities, normal, rare, hero, and legend.
Summoners War: Lost Centuria uses two cryptocurrencies for different purposes. The CTX token is a token required for operating the CTX blockchain ecosystem. Players can use CTX tokens to buy Ancient Crystals, an in-game currency to upgrade monsters, and exchange LCT tokens at the C2X Station. The LCT token is the native token of the Lost Centuria ecosystem; players can use this token on other games such as Summoners War: Sky Arena and Summoners War: Chronicles. Players can buy Magic Power Dust, an in-game currency required for crafting Ancient Runes, or CTX tokens with the LCT token.
