Toyo

Introduction

Toyo is a play-to-earn, strategic action and fighting game with NFT assets and its in-game utility token BOND and governance token TOYO. The game is inspired by the fighter action figures of the development team’s childhood. 

Gameplay

Toyos are sentient action figures created to protect and fight for their owners in the Toyo metaverse. They are bonded to their owners by a device called Heart-Bond, which makes them share their thoughts and feelings with their owners. A strong connection between Toyos and their owners impacts Toyos’ performance on the battlefield and makes them even stronger. 

In Toyo, action figures and body parts of action figures are all NFT assets and unique to their owners. They can be sold, purchased, or traded on the marketplaces. Also, Toyos and their body parts have different rarities, which affect the general performance. There are six other rarities: common edition, uncommon edition, rare edition, limited edition, collectors edition, and prototype edition. Players can enhance their Toyos and body parts by training them in training sessions, giving them special items, and winning battles. 

Toyo centers its PvE and PvP gameplay around battling Toyos. The battles consist of special moves, punches, kicks, special cyber attacks, combos, dodging the opponents’ attacks, and counter-attacks from Toyos. Players can alter the attack moves of Toyos by using different body parts on them to create different strategies. The results of Toyo battles depend on some key factors such as the fight strategies of players, overall stats of Toyos, attack type effectiveness, and resistances and weaknesses of Toyos.

Token Information

Toyo has its in-game (BOND) and governance (TOYO) tokens for players who want to experience the game. Players can earn TOYO by participating in different in-game activities such as battling against other players, completing quests, tasks, challenges, tournaments, gathering and scavenging missions, crafting body parts and attachments, selling NFT assets on marketplaces, and staking. 

As a side note, just like the game itself, both BOND and TOYO tokens are still in development and have not been released yet.
