Wildalo

Introduction

Wildalo is a blockchain-based card and adventure game that utilizes the Avalanche network with its NFT assets and cryptocurrencies, FODR, and WARC. The game combines free-to-play with play-to-earn, which means players can start the game for free and make a profit while having fun playing the game.

Gameplay

In the Wildalo, players become rangers who use wildlings, NFT animal cards from seven continents. Under the ranger’s command, wildlings create herds to face other herds. Each wildling has six primary stats such as health, attack power, speed, defense power, weight, length, and life span. In addition to primary stats, wildlings may have one or more secondary stats as well like poison, heal buff, attack debuff, attack buff, defense debuff, defense buff, speed debuff, speed buff, life steal, and damage reflection. These stats are defined by the rarity of the card. There are three different rarity levels for wildlings; common, rare, and exotic.

In the game, rangers create one or more herds from their wildlings to fight with other herds. Herd fights happen in turns and during each turn, each animal attacks and/or gets damaged according to their stats. The herd which can knock out all the animals on the other herd wins the fight. Rangers whose herd wins a fight earn FODR tokens. 

Wildalo is supported by its marketplace. In the marketplace, rangers can buy wildings, homestead buildings, equipment, and consumables. Since these are all NFT assets, they can be sold, bought, or traded on the 3rd party marketplaces by players. 

Tokenomics

Wildalo has two cryptocurrencies, FODR, and WARC, with different purposes. FODR is the in-game currency for the Wildalo ecosystem. Rangers can win FODR by fighting and winning herd fights with their wildlings, renting their equipment, etc. FODR can be used to buy wildlings, and other NFTs such as homesteads, consumables, etc. from the Wildalo marketplace. Initial fixed supply can be minted as needed to reward players.

WARC represents the whole Wildalo ecosystem. It has a fixed supply and is rewarded to early players as part of the herd fight reward. WARC holders not only get more Ranger power but are also entitled to vote on game decisions via Wildalo DAO.
