Welcome to our AMA session with Antanas, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of FishVerse. With nearly a decade of experience in marketing and a background in crypto spaces since the 2017 ICO era, Antanas brings a wealth of knowledge to FishVerse. As a passionate GameFi enthusiast and avid fisherman, he and CEO Rokas identified a unique opportunity to merge their interests and create the first fishing game powered by blockchain, FishVerse. In this session, Antanas will share the team's vision, gameplay mechanics, web3 integration, token utility, earning opportunities, and the roadmap ahead for FishVerse.

Can you tell us a bit about you and your background? What do you do in FishVerse?

My name is Antanas, and I'm the CMO of FishVerse. I have worked in other crypto spaces since 2017 ICO times and have worked for several marketing agencies before. I have almost a decade of experience in marketing. Experienced in creating effective marketing budgeting, custom user journey creation, and content strategy. I have an extensive skillset in market and sales strategies and community building. Motivated team leader with a vast skillset to lead projects and find the right markets.

Can you tell us about the team and advisors?

Me and CEO Rokas love fishing, and we are huge Gamefi enthusiasts and fanatics. We saw that there were no fishing games available in the Web3 space. The team evaluated this as a perfect opportunity to create a first-ever fishing game powered by blockchain with no direct competition and bring loads of new users to WEB3 gaming. We are a dedicated team of eight experienced GameFi enthusiasts from Vilnius, Lithuania. A well balanced team that has been actively engaged in the WEB3 space, collaborating with teams from different DeFi/GameFi projects. 40+ partners like Dfinity Foundation, A+ Ventures, Gotbit Hedge Fund, MEXC, Earn Alliance, BGA, Gamefi Org, Magic Square, CARV, Elixir, Owned Komunitas, MG Labs, and more.

What is FishVerse about? Is it a mobile game or a pc game? How can I jump right into it and start playing?

It is focused more on mobile, but FishVerse is on both platforms. First, go to fisher.thefishverse.com, which is the FishVerse game dashboard and gateway to the Web3 world. There you will find all the tools for Web3 gaming, but first create an account there. Then download the game on Google Play, Steam, or another marketplace, log in with your created account, and enjoy!

What is the main difference between FishVerse and your competitors in a similar niche?

FishVerse has no direct competition in Web3. In Web2, our main competitor is the successful game “Fishing Clash”, Our main USPs are an open world, more competition, a great balance between realism and engagement, and obviously WEB3 integration.

Can you walk us through the W2E mechanics?

The main concept is that we don’t provide tokens from the ecosystem for players who are just playing. Basically, no tokens for free; if you want to earn, you have to be better than someone else. In this case, you get tokens not from the ecosystem  but from other players who are worse than you. For example: fight another player in a duel for fun or stake $FVS to win 80% of the staked amount (the rest goes to the ecosystem and we burn it). If the player wants to compete with others in tournaments, he needs to pay an entrance fee, from which the prize fund is raised. Player wins 80% of the prize fund, which is gathered from 10 players. In single player, you need to purchase a season pass and try to reach ROI by completing challenges better than others (leaderboard).

What will be the different aspects of different fishing regions?

Different regions have different fish rarities, breeds and uses of equipment. Player has to unlock better regions.

What web3 aspects are you adding to the game? What will be the utility of token and NFTs?

Major token utilities: Major equipment upgrades (level progress), Minor equipment upgrades (level progress), NFT Fishing pass (subscription for earn version),In game asset purchases (characters, equipment, perks), Multiplayer stakes against opponent (PVP multiplayer), Tournament tickets (entry fee), Royalty fees (in-game token swap, NFTs), and staking options.

Will the token be used as an in-game currency?

FVS is a governance token which is exchangeable to in-game to achieve more seamless gameplay. FVS is used as a major game currency, along with staking, DAO, and more.

How will the players earn income by playing the game?

PVP, tournaments, single player accomplishments, staking, and NFT fish breeding.

How will the investors earn extra? Will there be staking?

Yes, token and NFT staking.

Can you walk us through the steps of your roadmap? What can we expect in the next 6 months?

In the coming months, FishVerse has an exciting roadmap planned to enhance the gaming experience for players. The journey begins with the launch of the mobile game pre-beta version, offering a sneak peek into the underwater world and its mechanics. Following this, FishVerse will introduce the multiplayer beta version, allowing players to engage in collaborative gameplay and explore the depths together. A key milestone is the release of the mobile game demo version, which provides a more comprehensive look at the game's features and functionalities. As FishVerse progresses, it will integrate AI and machine learning elements, enriching the gameplay with intelligent interactions and challenges. Players can look forward to the multiplayer PVP staking beta version, which will add competitive dynamics to the underwater adventure. The development of the full map will expand the exploration possibilities, unveiling new territories and secrets. Additionally, FishVerse will launch FVS token staking, introducing a token economy that rewards active participation and contribution. The ecosystem will further expand, offering diverse content and activities for players to enjoy. With the introduction of the on-chain gaming server beta version, FishVerse aims to enhance scalability and decentralization, ensuring a robust and secure gaming environment. Finally, DAO voting will empower the community to participate in decision-making, shaping the future direction of FishVerse. Where do you personally see FishVerse after the next bull market?

In the next 12 months, FishVerse aims to become the premier destination for both gaming enthusiasts and blockchain users alike. Through its immersive open-world fishing experience and innovative GameFi elements, it seeks to drive mass adoption in WEB3 gaming while introducing dedicated enthusiasts to blockchain technology's transformative capabilities.
