Penguin Karts

Introduction

Penguin Karts is a play-to-earn blockchain-based battle-racing game that utilizes the Fantom network with its NFT assets and cryptocurrency, PGK. In the game, players race and battle against each other while earning NFTs along the way, which can be used in the game. In addition to the racing aspect of the game, Penguin Karts also lets spectators place bets on their favorite players.

Gameplay

As an action-racing game, the game revolves around trying to be the first by neutralizing opponents with attacks during the race. Players will try to defeat their opponents by using different weapons and ammunition. The possible token rewards earned at the end of each race make this game more competitive than other off-chain action-racing games. In accordance with this competitive environment, even if the players do not participate in the race by car, they will be able to participate as a spectator and bet on their favorite racers. If the racers they bet on win, they will acquire prizes from the betting pool and make a profit out of their assumptions. 

Penguin Karts features two main NFT assets that players can acquire while racing; custom kart skins and weapons. The developers of the game want to integrate different brands into their racing vehicles by making agreements with the favorite brands of the players for these custom kart skins. Weapons also can be acquired during the race by players; slippery fish can make the race track slippery for opponent racers, triple fish can be dropped behind or can be thrown in front of the racer to make racers slip, freeze ray can freeze opponent racers instantly, fish skeletons can be used to offensive, or defensive purposes since it can absorb one single attack from opponents, fish skeleton missiles can hit racers by targeting them automatically, etc. 

In the first phase of the game, players will be able to experience twenty different race tracks. These racetracks will take place in vast deserts, dense jungles, endless space, burning hell, and a night version of Tokyo.

Token Information

Penguin Karts uses the PGK token as its native cryptocurrency. Players can earn PGK tokens by completing races, selling in-game NFT assets on the marketplace, or locking their tokens in staking pools. The PGK token can be used to place bets on the races, on NFT marketplaces, and as a governance token to vote for future updates of the game by holders,
