LOCGame

Introduction

LOCGame is a play-to-earn free-to-play blockchain collectible card game where players can own NFT cards and earn LOCG tokens on the Ethereum network. The game features various PvE and PvP modes that the players can participate in. LOCGame is available to play on mobile and PC platforms.

Gameplay

LOCGame allows players to own NFT playing cards that have different classes such as standard, prestige, elite, super elite, and legendary. Players can create decks with these cards and participate in various game modes. Each card has a unique visual design and artwork that are based on the crypto world. There are cards such as GameFi Founder, The Whale, The Dumper, NFT Artist, and many more. Cards feature four different directional attacks, health, and special abilities. Special abilities are represented at the center of the card. The cards are dropped on a three-by-three board where each player takes turns to play. 

Since the game doesn't have a traditional card game two-sided battlefield, players need to think and plan carefully before performing an action. To attack with a card, players need to swipe the card in the desired direction. If the attacking card’s directional damage is higher than the opponent’s directional defense, the attacker will deal damage to the opponent’s card. If the opponent card’s health reaches zero, the winning card will take its place. The winning card can attack again if there is another opponent card in the same path. The game ends when all grids are filled, and the player with the most grids controlled wins the game. The game also ends the following turn after a player draws the last card from their deck.

PvE mode features a campaign with a story where players fight through levels against AI opponents. If the players would like more competition than the solo mode, the multiplayer PvP mode enables players to compete against each other in a quick match. Players can create a friendly match, a high-stakes battle with players can opt to stake, and a battle royale mode in which the players have buy-in in order to participate. 

The tournaments, on the other hand, grant players further rewards with prize pools and a five-day leaderboard that they have to compete on in order to gain more points and score highly. There are also weekly leagues that classify players based on their skill level. Players can end up participating in bronze, silver, gold, and legendary leagues that grant great rewards to top players.

Token Information

LOCG tokens are the native cryptocurrency of the game that act as governance tokens. They can be used to purchase in-game tokens called LC coins. They are used to participate in tournaments and to purchase different cards from the store.
