Sky City

Introduction

Sky City is a blockchain massively multiplayer online social sandbox game (MMOSSG) that resides in the AlterVerse metaverse and features its token, AVC. The game provides players with an array of activities, from gaming to social engagement. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, Sky City combines the gameplay features of virtual worlds while adding building elements. It is a metropolis in the sky where players can gather, interact, and partake in various mini-games, as well as design their homes and establish businesses.

Gameplay

Sky City offers an array of experiences within its towering skyline. This futuristic city provides a playground for adventurers, builders, entrepreneurs, and socializers alike. Players can join titanic mech battles, laser tag tournaments, charger races, and helicopter flights. They can also delve into caves, mine resources, hunt wild creatures, or test their character in the Demolition Pit.

Players are able to purchase different NFT’s that are featured in Sky City as retail shops, apartments, and businesses. These properties can be owned and managed by the AlterVerse Coin (AVC), a BEP-20 token on the Binance Smart Chain. However, AlterVerse's metaverse requires no crypto wallet or NFTs to play its featured games. The platform also supports up to 200 players per server.

Vendors, entrepreneurs, and developers play various roles in the game’s economy. Players can gather resources, craft building components and furnishings, and then sell these to fellow gamers for profit. The NFT Art Center allows players to take on the role of conference managers, organizing large gatherings and events. The city also boasts a political aspect, with City Hall serving as a meeting place for the City Council and promoting decentralized governance.

AlterVerse's platform integrates conversational AI into itself, allowing creators to build voice-compatible non-player characters (NPCs). These NPCs can provide endless conversational content and guidance throughout the game. Creators can personalize each character's appearance, backstory, actions, and knowledge bank.

Token Information

The AlterVerse Coin (AVC) serves as the in-game utility token that powers the economy within the AlterVerse universe. It is on the Binance Smart Chain, powering economic transactions and interactions within Sky City. Additionally, there are plans to introduce liquidity on the Polygon chain. AVC facilitates various in-game activities, including staking to receive potent in-game benefits and auto-burn mechanics.
