Thetan Arena is a play-to-earn esports multiplayer online battle arena and battle royale action game on the Binance Smart Chain network. THG, THC, and PP are the in-game currencies that can be gained from playing various game modes and participating in events. Players can use the marketplace to buy, trade, and sell NFTs.
There are four modes available for players in the game. Battle Royale mode can be played solo, or as a duo, the main goal is to be the last man standing in the arena. Deathmatch 4v4 consists of players forming teams of four and fighting against each other. Superstar 4v4 is a mode where players have to steal superstars and defend each other. Tower Destroy 4v4 is a traditional MOBA mode where players have to destroy the opposing team's base.
Heroes are divided into three categories; Tanks, Assassins, and Marksmen. Tanks are the frontline and have higher hit points, medium attack damage, and slow speed. Assassins aim to combo and eliminate their opponents, have low hit points, high damage, and speed. Marksmen are the main damage dealers, they have high damage, medium hit points, and speed. Skill sets are divided into three; effect skills, damage skills, and support skills.
Each hero has two kinds of levels, one is the main hero level, and the other is the in-game hero level. Each hero will start a match from level 1 and can be leveled to 10. Heroes have different rarities, higher ones have more unique abilities and playstyles. Common, Epic and Legendary heroes have different skins, these skins can either be Default, Rare, or Mythical. Trophy classes represent the mastery for a hero, which ranges from Class H to Class SS.
Thetan Arena has three currencies in the game, Thetan Coin (THC), Thetan Gem (THG), and Power Points (PP). THC and PP are earned by in-game progression. THG can only be earned in special events and tournaments. These tokens can be spent at the marketplace to buy NFT items.
Firstly, you need to download the game. You can either play from a PC or a mobile device. After downloading the game, it will ask you to register an account and verify it. Then, the game immediately starts with a basic tutorial that introduces how to control a hero. You will be given three free heroes, one of each class. You should try each one and decide which one you prefer for your playstyle.
The main menu acts as a hub that features all the info you need before finding a match.
You can view and access each hero you own from the menu.
Heroes are divided into three classes; Assassin, Marksman, and Tank. Each hero has a unique skill called Fury Skill in addition to two optional skills.
Fury skills are mostly the reason why you will be selecting and playing a certain hero, they are one of the most important aspects of gameplay in Thetan Arena.
Each hero has two rarities; the base rarity and the rarity of its skin. Base rarities for each hero are set and can’t be changed. Skin rarities affect the appearance of a hero and can vary for each one.

Heroes can be tested out to get familiar with them before going into a battle.
Every NFT hero that you buy from the marketplace has a battle cap. This is the total number of battles an NFT hero will earn you tokens. If it reaches zero, you can still use the hero but you can’t make any earnings from it. Aside from the total number, your heroes are capped at a daily number too.
|Hero Rarity||Skin Rarity||Min Battles||Max Battles||Daily Battles|
Heroes can be upgraded to increase various attributes, their battle cap, and their win bonus. It costs Power Points and gTHC to upgrade which both can be earned through gameplay. The costs increase with each successive upgrade.

Each hero is classified with a trophy class too. Trophy ranks can vary from H to SS (H>G>F>E>D>C>B>A>S>SS). This indicates mastery and how many matches have been played with that certain hero.
Higher trophy classes give bonuses to skills such as more damage and lower cooldowns.
Combining two types of skills is optimal for every situation.
Optional skills can be selected from a set of skills that rotate every week in a pool of predetermined skills. You should be aiming to combine these skills with the Fury skill of your hero to complement your playstyle. I combined Black Hole with an area of effect damaging skills and found much success in dealing damage to the whole enemy team each time. Healing Turret is also very useful in almost every situation, it can win you a team fight if you can heal every member of your team.

Be wary of enemies hiding in the bushes.
The arenas are different for each game mode. You should approach the game differently with each map. It is almost always better to go for gift boxes that you can destroy to gain levels.
Gaining a level lead early game will win you fights because you will have more and higher-level skills from your opponents.
Unless you are setting up a trap with your teammates, spreading out across the map is better to create flanks towards the enemies or the objectives. You should always check out teammates' positions and not stray away when spreading out.
The map offers covers such as walls and bushes. Planning a surprise attack or getting away from enemies is possible when you can coordinate with your teammates. It is also essential to look for healing pickups before attacking, you can plan your retreat accordingly, or even fight beside the healing pickup for an advantage in the battle.
Each game mode features arenas that require different strategies.
You can track your progression from the ranking rewards menu.
Thetan Arena has three currencies in the game, Thetan Coin (THC), Thetan Gem (THG), and Power Points (PP). Every player is rewarded THC when they participate in any game mode. THG can only be earned in special events and tournaments. The in-game progression is tied to the battle pass's ranking rewards, which can be found at the top of the main menu. By progressing through each rank, you can claim rewards in the form of THC and PP.
Every player gets three common heroes from each class for free. These Heroes can be used to play every game mode and any number of times, but these heroes don’t have any battle caps tied with them. As a result, they won’t earn you in-game currencies per win. You can only earn trophy ranks and progress your battle pass with them. This means your only source of income will be from ranking rewards. Ranking rewards are tied to the battle pass, which resets every season.
You can buy NFT heroes from the marketplace.
NFT heroes can be bought from the marketplace or minted from boxes. These heroes will have a certain amount of battles that can earn you THC and THG for each win. My advice would be to cycle between heroes to maximize your rewards. Each hero has daily battle limits that you can deplete each day.
Owning more than one hero will allow you to advance quickly through the ranks.
Opening boxes is risky but cheaper than buying heroes.
There are three types of boxes; Common, Epic, and Legendary. Each has a certain chance of dropping a particular rarity of heroes. These heroes can either be traded directly in the marketplace, or you can use them for your own games to earn.
If you buy a hero from the marketplace, make sure to check out the remaining games it has. Generally, If the remaining amount is higher than half of the total amount, you can get your investment back in about twenty to thirty days if your win rate is about 50%. You can calculate your winnings since heroes have win limits per day. I bought a common hero with 145 games remaining for 670 THC and played 20 games with it over three days. I won 12 games, which means a 60% win rate and gained 111 THC. I expect to keep my win rate about the same and get my investment back in a week.
That is it for Thetan Arena, for now, you can try out different heroes and game modes to keep it fresh. I definitely think everyone who is a fan of action and strategy games will enjoy this game and keep on earning while playing. Don't forget to check out our other game guides.
