MonkeyLeague

Introduction

MonkeyLeague is a play-to-earn turn-based soccer game where players can collect NFTs and create a team of monkeys to play against other teams. MonkeyBucks (MBS) is the main in-game currency awarded for participation in different game modes. There is also SCORE, which is the primary governance token.

Gameplay

In MonkeyLeague, there are three game modes. A PvE mode, a PvP mode where players control their entire team, and a team versus team mode that allows multiple players in a team.

Matches last for twelve rounds, six per half. A round finishes when the two teams complete their turns. Each player can move their players, dribble, pass, shoot, or use special moves. The first team to reach three goals wins. 

Each team consists of four monkeys with distinct roles such as scorer, defender, midfielder, and goalkeeper. Monkeys can be customized with uniforms, boots, jewelry, and other in-game items, which increase their skills. Role abilities challenge each other. A goalkeeper's agility challenges a scorer's accuracy, for example. 

In the headquarters, players can boost monkeys' abilities, in-game performance, and morale with training. Stadiums can be owned, and players are rewarded for every match they host. Players can also become spectators and influence the gameplay with their cheers.

Token Information

When a match ends, MBS is awarded and split between the winning team, the stadium owner, and the spectators who rooted for the winners. Players can also get MBS by buying it on the marketplace and opening loot boxes. SCORE is the governance token that can be used in voting and can be farmed by early holders of the MBS token.
